Since bk architektur was founded by Victor Braun and Simon Klösges in 2020, we have been dedicated to developing timeless and sustainable architecture that treats our environment responsibly. Our work understands holistic architecture as an integrative process that takes social, ecological and economic issues into account and translates them into precise designs.

We operate within the complex planning and decision-making processes of today's fast-paced building culture. We do not view architecture as an isolated discipline, but rather as the result of interdisciplinary exchange. Working closely with specialist planners and experts, we pool our knowledge and experience to develop individual solutions for every task.

Continuous dialogue with our clients forms the basis of our work. Through close communication, we create a shared understanding of the goals, framework conditions and potential of a project. As architects, we set important priorities at the right time and promote enjoyment of the process. This results in a shared understanding of the project, which ultimately manifests itself in good craftsmanship. In this way, we succeed in maximising quality, efficiency and sustainability in all phases and creating lasting added value for all involved.

The aim of our work is to create durable, healthy and resource-efficient buildings that blend naturally into their surroundings while also expressing their own architectural identity.

bk architektur was founded while we were working on our first project. Prior to this, we gained extensive professional experience in renowned national and international architectural firms, including David Chipperfield Architects in Berlin, Jessen Vollenweider Architektur in Basel, Nickl & Partner Architekten in Düsseldorf and Ingenhoven Architects in Düsseldorf. We completed our training at the Technical University of Dortmund and the Technical University of Darmstadt.

In 2024, Victor Braun was appointed to the Association of German Architects (BDA).
